“NFL Bans All Players with Domestic Abuse Charges – Has Zero Tolerance”
The National Football League just issued a no-violence policy stating that any player who is convicted of domestic violence or sexual assault charges will not be allowed in the NFL – indefinitely . The ruling comes after many decades of players being “slapped on the hand” and temporarily suspended when convicted of sexual assault and domestic violence.
“We will no longer continue to abide this deplorable behavior.” We will have no more O.J. Simpson, Ray Rice or Greg Hardy cases. We are professional, positive people, who are passionate about our sport. We want to make better men and the world a better place. For me, this decision was simple and easy. Anyone who could argue with it has serious inner reflecting to do,” stated NFL chairman Paul Goodell. The new decision was ruled into effect at the January 2017 NFL board meeting.
